Have you taught, or do you know Spanish, Korean, or American Sign Language?

Neighborhood Youth Association is a non-profit after school program for low-income students. As part of the Youth Leadership program, students have academic tutors, take elective classes and do leadership development.

We are looking for tutors/teachers in Spanish, Korean, and ASL. Class size would be small (1-4 students). Class would meet once a week for an hour. Come help our students expand and improve their skillset!

The Neighborhood Youth Association provides at risk youth from low income homes a comprehensive set of educational enhancement services in a sustained, focused manner over the critical years of their lives so that they may successfully reach a productive adulthood.

Description

NYA offers services that are long term and concentrated, adapted to meet the individual needs of each child and are measured against tangible goals. We have locations in Venice, Mar Vista (West LA), Downtown LA, Mid-City, and South LA/Harbor Gateway.
