Front Range Ranch & Rescue adopts abandoned and/or abused horses and other animals. Staff and volunteers work together to care for and train these animals to assist in integration and readjustment therapy. They specialize in equestrian and animal therapy for disabled veterans, addressing various challenges that veterans and their families experience.
If you have a heart for animals & veterans and you aren't afraid of hard work, this volunteer position is for you! Ranch Hand volunteers can participate in many activities including feeding, grooming, and bathing horses, cleaning stalls, yards, & fields, and helping with maintenance & repairs. Front Range Ranch & Rescue is located just south of Fort Collins; while you'll need your own transportation to get there, it is a convenient location from both Fort Collins and Loveland. Volunteers are requested to help out at least once per week for two hours (Monday through Friday shifts available).
