ORGANIZATION: United Way of Greater Cincinnati

This will support parents of families that are participating in the STEPS program which is a 2-generation program that supports mothers with at least one child 8 years old or younger. This parent is either unemployed or under employed single mom and is working toward a career job training program, and education opportunities. This would help populations in several Cincinnati areas as their children move forward with their education. These parents are working toward positive change in all areas of their life.

Volunteers may collect these items on their own, or organize a collection within their company, school or other community organization.

We are hoping to collect the following items to help the 50 families we work with: Washable markers, Scissors, Crayons, Glue sticks, Folders, Kleenex, Hand sanitizer, Back pack, Composition book, Pencil Sharpener, Pencils, and Pencil holders. We are also looking for new or gently used clothing for uniforms for 1st - 8th graders as well.
