Pacific Symphony is seeking a skilled volunteer with experience in HR and payroll, to assist our finance department with onboarding, auditing, archiving, and other projects based on his or her skill level with direction. The volunteer must work with attention to detail and organization of digital and hard copies of documentation. Onboarding tasks will include reviewing the I-9 forms of Symphony musicians for accuracy, and creating employee files for them. The volunteer will audit musician files for completeness, errors, and oddities, as well as verify the currency of foreign employment visas. The volunteer will also test new system modules such as "ADP Workforce Now" and help validate system information. The volunteer will also be responsible for creating labels for payroll files and binders. Other projects will be available depending on the volunteer’s knowledge of labor law, ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Excel, research for on demand inquiries, and his or her physical limitations (warehouse records purge). Hours are flexible, between 9am - 7pm M-F, and the volunteer will report to the Director of Finance. *Background Check Required*
