ORGANIZATION: START SMALL THINK BIG INC

Online Advertising experts needed to help low-income, low-wealth, and entrepreneurs of color build and sustain their small businesses.

We are seeking volunteers with experience in Online Advertising to help our entrepreneurs formalize an online marketing plan with measurable goals for improving visibility and generating new customers.

We offer two types of volunteer opportunities for Online Advertising volunteers:

  1. One Day Engagement (known as Consultations)
    Coordinate a virtual "Volunteer Day" where we book a group of entrepreneurs according to a schedule that you select in advance. Consultations are based around our online advertising guideline document to help move the conversation and give entrepreneurs concrete information to move forward with.
    Time Commitment: These can range from 3 hours to a full 8 hour day, depending on your availability. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of professional experience and be able to take on at least 3 consultations per day, potentially a few times throughout the year.
  2. Teach a Bootcamp (group session)
    Connect with a group of entrepreneurs to educate and help guide them in developing their own online advertising plan.
    Time Commitment: These interactions are generally 45-90 minutes depending on the amount of content, and flexible and to your schedule. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of professional experience.

Description

We focus on partnering with BIPOC entrepreneurs, women, LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs, immigrants, veterans, entrepreneurs with disabilities, low-income entrepreneurs, and formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs. We help identify entrepreneurs’ areas of need and provide them with free technical assistance across the finance, marketing and legal areas. We do this by connecting them with our community of corporate partners and skills-based volunteers - so small businesses have the network and resources they need to grow on their own terms.
