Mission Statement

Start Small Think Big is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing equity and inclusion in entrepreneurship by connecting small businesses with the resources and community they need to thrive. - We stand for access and opportunity and get behind the belief that with a skilled partner, entrepreneurs and their businesses can thrive personally and professionally. - We create powerful connections with entrepreneurs and legal, financial, and marketing experts that provide assistance while building meaningful collaborations.

Description

We focus on partnering with BIPOC entrepreneurs, women, LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs, immigrants, veterans, entrepreneurs with disabilities, low-income entrepreneurs, and formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs. We help identify entrepreneurs’ areas of need and provide them with free technical assistance across the finance, marketing and legal areas. We do this by connecting them with our community of corporate partners and skills-based volunteers - so small businesses have the network and resources they need to grow on their own terms.

I loved to volunteer in this organization! Eliza and all the members of the organization are very kind and polite. I volunteered 3 times as a photographer and I enjoyed it very much. Plus the energy of the entrepreneurs inspired me to keep forward to my goals. I DEFINITELY recommend to volunteer with them!
