Thank you for your interest in volunteering at SafeHouse Center! We have a rich history of providing exemplary services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and are in the forefront of efforts to create a violence-free society. We invite you to join us in this work. All gender identities are welcome to apply for all volunteer positions.
As a volunteer receptionist you will greet visitors, welcome survivors, thank donors and do light clerical tasks. This is a great way for community members to become involved in our work without having to complete the 40 hour crisis intervention training. Receptionists are asked to complete a 4 hour training before starting your weekly shifts. Receptionists are asked to make an ongoing weekly commitment (three to four hours) during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm).
To apply for this position please go to www.safehousecenter.org/volunteer-information/volunteer-applications-forms/to complete application. After the application has been received you will be contacted about the next steps in the application process.
