Join us for the second annual Wilder Block Party happens Saturday, August 12 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the Wilder grounds, located steps away from the Green Line. Last year's party serving up food, games, activities, and entertainment was a great success.
We seek approximately 50 volunteers for a variety of positions. There will be two main volunteer shifts:
10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
We also have shorter shifts for set-up and take-down before and after the block party. Those shifts are:
9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
This year's event promises even more family-fun!
Greeters - Welcoming attendees and providing a map of the grounds
General Event Volunteers - Assisting with games and activities for kids, keeping the food tent area clean
First Aid Tent Volunteers - Attend to minor scrapes
Floating Volunteers - Walking party grounds answering questions of Block Party attendees
Stage Hands - Checking in entertainment, directing them to VIP tent
Find the area that interests you and sign-up for a fun-filled day. Volunteers receive Wilder T-shirts, snacks, and bottled-water to keep cool.

Wilder has been dedicated to improving people's lives and well-being for over a century. Over time, we've evolved and enhanced our services to meet the changing needs of our community. Wilder is a nonprofit health and human services organization that has served the greater Saint Paul, MN area since 1906. Wilder is not a grant-making foundation, but a public charity as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
