As part of our domestic violence outreach efforts, we need to develop a "security hub" that displays important information to employees of shelters and safe houses. It's our hope that the requirements are relatively simple to implement, but we lack the expertise to do so ourselves. If another solution exists, we're very open to other ideas!

Project: OPSEC Hub
Platform: Wordpress, web-based
Location: In the MyOSPA member's portal
Description: A single page with multiple sections, each displaying important security information to the user. Some of the information is customization and tied to the user's wordpress account. The frames should be arranged in neat rows to look like any other standard dashboard (like these examples: https://www.google.com/search?q=visual+dashboard&safe=active&sout=1&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiXicT8waLVAhXCPiYKHTTnBpwQ_AUICigB). My solution would be to use iframes, but that's only because I don't know what else may be possible. But iframes would be a solution I'd be comfortable with despite the performance hit. Time is of the essence here.

Sections:

1. A user-editable to do list, with dates and priority fields. This is unique for the logged-in user and cannot be seen by other users.

2. spotcrime API ( https://github.com/skyline-ai/spotcrime)

3. rss feed titled "Threat / countermeasure news and discussion"
Add note: "The content shown is automatically generated through an aggregator. Discussions and news articles posted do not necessarily reflect the views of OSPA."

4.social searcher API

5.Random security Message
A module that displays a random security message (calling from a database that I can populate), which can be copied or refreshed

6. A chat screen that keeps chats for subsequent users. Things typed in the chat section ARE visible for other logged-in users. There are many wordpress plugins that should do this

About Operation: Safe Escape

Operation Safe Escape is an initiative of OSPA, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. And we have one simple goal: to make sure that every victim of domestic violence has the resources, information, and confidence that they need to leave their abusive partner.

We fight against domestic violence in two ways. First is by empowering the individuals impacted by domestic violence, helping them (and their children) turn from victims to survivors. We first help to develop secure communication channels with their support system and local shelters, and then build on that to provide security and safety guidance relevant to their current step in the process. This takes a team of up to 30 security professionals in different disciplines, as well as software and application developers and other specialists.

Next, we make sure that the survivor has a safe place to go. To do this, we work with shelters, safe houses, and advocacy groups in developing security solutions and training staff on counter-surveillance and other security concepts.
