Safe Place for Pets supports terminally ill pet owners in our community by rehoming their beloved pets. As a 100% volunteer organization, we are in urgent need of a Cattery Coordinator to create the monthly schedules for the volunteers who care for the cats awaiting adoption at our facility in Manitou Springs, Colorado.

Location: Must live in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

Tasks include:

• Work with the Cattery Coordinator to maintain a monthly schedule of trained volunteers to keep the Cattery staffed regularly.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute monthly cattery schedule to Cattery team (and other teams, as needed).
• Communicate with Cattery volunteers on a regular basis regarding cattery scheduling.
• Communicate regularly with the Cattery Coordinator regarding cattery scheduling and cattery volunteer team.

Requirements:

• This volunteer must have access to a computer with Microsoft Office, e-mail, and a printer.
• This volunteer must have access to a telephone which will be used to contact Safe Place for Pets volunteers.
• Detail oriented; strong administrative skills; strong communication skills; enjoys working with people; team player.
