The Wilder Foundation is hosting it's second annual Block Party on Saturday, August 12 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the Wilder grounds. Last year's party serving up food, games, activities, and entertainment was a tremendous success.
There will be two main volunteer shifts:
10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
We also have two shorter shifts for set-up prior to the Block Party and take-down returning the Wilder grounds to normal. We welcome your help and support!
Those shifts are:
9:30 - 11:00 a.m. - Set-up
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. - Take-down
This year's event promises even more family-fun with more food trucks, kids games and activities, and entertainment! Volunteers work 3-hour shifts for positions:
Greeters - Welcoming attendees and providing a map of the grounds
General Event Volunteers - Assisting with games for kids, keeping the food tent and surrounding area clean
Medical Tent Volunteers - Provide band aids for minor cuts and scrapes
Floating Volunteers - Walking party grounds answering questions from attendees
Stage Hands - Checking in entertainment, directing them to VIP tent
Volunteers receive Wilder T-shirts, snacks, and bottled water.

Wilder is a nonprofit health and human services organization that has served the greater Saint Paul, MN area since 1906. Wilder is not a grant-making foundation, but a public charity as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
