Here at Oaknoll we have begun what I call the "Calorie Project". We are working on uploading all of our recipes into an online database so that we can provide nutritional information to those that are consiming the meals.
Working at a retirement home, many residents have different diatery needs. Many are supposed to be on a low-sodium diet or perhaps they have lost weight and a doctor has encouraged them to gain that weight back. No matter the reason, providing the nutritional value of menu items will be greatly beneficial.
This is a large project but is one that will benefit many. If you are a college student or looking to build your resume, this is a great opportunity! If you are retired and have an interest in helping others while entering data, we'd love to have you!
