Account - Online QuickBooks
This role will be part of the FARM Committee. (Finance, Audit and Risk Management). You will maintain financial records for VPIA. High proficiency in QuickBooks-Online is required.
Key duties that you will oversee and share with your committee:
- Maintain QuickBooks financial records with high standards and integrity
- Receive and reconcile the bank statements
- Maintain chart of accounts
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Confirm and document contributions
- Ensure that funds are used properly
- Keep a calendar of Canadian government filing requirements and ensure timely filing
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting and experience in the nonprofit sector.
Please note: This is an unpaid position. The successful candidate will be subject to and must clear a financial background/credit check.
