Is friendraising and fundraising more up your alley? Do you have the skills and stamina to make the annual Evergreens Benefit beautiful and brilliant?
If you answered yes then consider joining the Evergreens Benefit Committee. The Evergreens Benefit is the annual fundraiser raising vital funds for Safe Harbor Crisis Center. How can you get involved?
The Evergreens Benefit Committee welcomes new members who can help make this event a success. Committee Members assist Committee Chairs with coordinating the event, which can include publicizing the event, soliciting live and silent auction items, approaching businesses and community members for sponsorships, coordinating the evening, sending invitations, working with the auctioneer, distributing invitations and save the date cards, activities and entertainment for Family Night, finding M/C for the event, recognition of donors, and sending thank you’s.
We are currently seeking leaders for the following roles:
- Evergreens Trees and Live Auction Coordinator
- Committee Secretary
- Community donation list coordinator
You could also help with one-time needs like distributing fliers, putting together crafts to be sold in the Evergreens Craft Boutique, or requesting auction donations.
Event volunteers are also needed to help set up, support auction spotting, cleaning up, greeting attendees and other functions.
