The work we do at Safe Harbor would not be possible without the healing hearts and helping hands of our dedicated volunteers. Volunteering is a meaningful way to help support survivors of abuse by donating your time and skill set. We are looking for a dedicated group that is willing to come into our Shelter once a month and Deep Clean and Organize the Client Kitchen. This is a place where our diverse clientel is learning life skills, and basic needs after their hardship. Join our force in supporting our cause and help us provide shelter, supportive services and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault, as well as education, awareness and resources to our community.

Safe Harbor has a highly trained volunteer crisis response team that responds to sexual assault calls. These positions require a good deal of training and experience and a cool head in a crisis with a strong grounding in available services in Davis County. Crisis Team Advocates are on-call after hours (evenings and weekends) and are dispatched through law enforcement when there has been police involvement with a sexual assault situation. Volunteers meet with victims to offer support, resources and referrals. Volunteers are generally on call one shift (6-8 hours) per week. To become a Crisis Team Advocate call 801-660-6104 or email volunteer@safeharborhope.org
