Use your skills with data to help us maintain accurate records that will aid in the services we are able to provide to our constituents.
Responsibilities:
- Enter data
- Assist with cleaning current data
- Identify additional information to be collected from volunteers and donors
- Update database with new data fields
- Enhance process for entering data, and creating reports
- Create appropriate forms to help collect data
- Initiate process for comparing data over short and long periods of time
Training and Support
- Training on our current process
- Overview of how to use our database
- Ongoing support from staff and other volunteers
Time Commitment
- 1-3 hours a month
- Location is flexible and can be done at the FNVW office or remotely.

Friends for a NonViolent World (FNVW) commits to promote nonviolent living and action in our personal lives, in our community, and in the world.
At FNVW, we promote nonviolent, transformational social change through:
- Education of the public on peace-related issues through quarterly newsletters, weekly e-letters, conferences, and study groups.
- Movement building through collaborative efforts with other peace organizations.
- Training individuals to live nonviolently and to serve as peacemakers in their communities.
- Grassroots mobilization of constituents for nonviolent actions, including protests, vigils, and call-in days related to various pieces of legislation.

Mission Statement
Friends for a NonViolent World (FNVW) is a Quaker-inspired organization of people who affirm the dignity inherent in each human being. FNVW works to promote and create peace and justice in our community by using the principles and practices of nonviolence to transform conflict and to address the root causes of violence.
Description
We provide tools, training and opportunities for people to take leadership in creating a nonviolent society. We affirm the dignity and self-determination of each person, promoting nonviolence as a powerful means to accomplish all just ends. The goals of FNVW are to promote peace in the personal lives of individuals, in communities plagued by violence and in the political system of the United States. Additionally, FNVW strives to educate people on the impact of violence in all areas of our lives.
