We're excited you're interested in volunteer opportunities at Rock Ledge Ranch!

We are a Living History Museum located in the valley of the Garden of the Gods. Our volunteer historic interpreters are "Docents." Docents dress in period-appropriate clothing, and provide visitors from all over the world tours of their historic site. They help interpret the daily lives of people that inhabited the Pikes Peak region from 1775 - 1907. For example, docents may cook, clean, play games or music, sew or make crafts.

If you’re not interested in being a historic interpreter, we have special events throughout the year and "behind the scenes" opportunities! For example, volunteers sell tickets for activities, take tickets for activities, supervise games, play instruments, garden, tell stories, and more!

We are a unique living history site with the privilege of having a Junior Docent program, available to 10-17 year olds. This is a very popular program! Interviews, orientation, and site-specific training is required to participate. Applications for the Junior Docent Program are open yearly from March 1 - March 7, and can be found on our website: www.rockledgeranch.com.

Adult volunteers 18+. Interviews, training, and background check is required.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
