Office Assistant Intern- Volunteer Coordinator : Description and Responsibilities:
The office assistant intern will work directly with the Director and administrative staff to complete tasks critical to the organization on a daily and long-term basis. Most internship opportunities are one day per week (minimum 3-5 hrs per week depending on school requirements) with additional Saturday or weekday mural painting or art workshop events available throughout semester. Since we are still looking for a new permanent office location, the Office Assistant Intern position will be fulfilled remotely, with weekly meetings scheduled at our temporary office space or coffee shops. Primary tasks will involve compiling data from program evaluations and surveys, compiling new volunteer information into our database, communicating with volunteers, updating mailing lists on excel spreadsheets, and maintaining volunteer records.
Before embarking on this internship, please be sure to discuss your goals in completing this internship, so that we can ensure that it is a productive and positive experience for both parties. Please inform us of any schedule conflicts you may have, and any questions.
