Content Marketing Coordinator (volunteer position)

Time Commitment: Minimum of 8-10 virtual hours per month; which may include evenings.

Content Marketing Coordinator

  • Support all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, which deliver sales and customer retention.
  • Collaborate across functional teams to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate on the development of the content our audience is looking for and then optimize the path to conversion
  • Provide input on content development, distribution and measurement. Develop best practices so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
  • Maintain calendar and organization workflows.
  • Coordinate email / newsletter distribution and have an understanding of the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
  • Implement the integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand to demand.

Requirements:

  • Sharepoint, MS Office experience required, Canva and Slack experience preferred.
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what our audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
  • Experience with Wordpress, MS Office, and the top social channels
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple departments
