The Salvation Army Kroc Center

What: Help to monitor the Kroc Centers lunchtime food program. Ensure that patrons are consuming their lunches on campus and that no one is abusing the rules of our food program. Training is provided. We are looking for individuals who are willing to commit to at least one or two days a week. (Multiple day availability is preferred) This is a great opportunity for High School students who need to complete a set amount of hours over the summer.

When: Monday thru Friday, 11:15am to 1:30pm. June 17th through August 23rd
Where: Kroc Center Education Courtyard

Why: To help ensure that the children in our community have access to a free healthy lunch while they are on summer break.

Description

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is a 12.4-acre family support, education, recreation, and cultural arts center, made possible by a generous gift by the late philanthropist Mrs. Joan Kroc. The facility is open to members and the general public and serves residents of East San Diego, La Mesa and Lemon Grove with a variety of quality programs for individuals of all ages.
