Motivated by God’s love, Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center’s mission is to meet the needs of the community through: Boundless Opportunity, Experiential Knowledge, Holistic Growth, Progressive Challenge, Relevant Skill and Meaningful Success.
The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is a 12.4-acre family support, education, recreation, and cultural arts center, made possible by a generous gift by the late philanthropist Mrs. Joan Kroc. The facility is open to members and the general public and serves residents of East San Diego, La Mesa and Lemon Grove with a variety of quality programs for individuals of all ages.
Would you recommend The Salvation Army Kroc Center?
I volunteered at the HQ before they shut down there office. I enjoyed working there. I was transferred to Joan and Ray Kroc. I sat at the front desk of the Admin building. Everyone was nice, but I was not given a job. They gave me a tracing pictures and cut out job once. I sat there and found things to do. I give it two stars because the first half of the job was cool.
I would like to give a thumbs up for the Salvation Army Kroc Center for hosting this event. You guys are so wonderful and we can use more events like this Easter Eggstravaganza for the community and people of San Diego. By volunteering for the Salvation Army I was able to become acquanted with several other volunteers and hand out Easter gifts and candies. I saw so many children and gave them a lot of encouragements. There were sooo many easter eggs and prizes I think it is a really great event. I'm soo happy I went. Thank you volunteermatch.org for showing me this fabulous event.
