Job Description

The Human Health Project (HHP) digital team is looking for a detail oriented, talented, and self-motivated Web/Digital Video Producer to be an integral part of a team that creates content for the rapidly growing web and social media audience for HHP. The Digital Video Producer will work closely with the content producers, hosts, and the editorial lead to produce compelling, and original content. The Digital Video Producer will be responsible for the recording, editing and assembly of video files, as well as editing the final product, and ultimately publishing content.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating original video production. They will help to develop the editorial identity of HHP.

Responsibilities

• Work with content program owners, hosts and other stakeholders to create HHP video identity

• Set-up and record live video

• Edit, build recordings

• Publish videos and deliver metadata

• Be available to execute last-minute changes on deadline, and troubleshoot problems

• Produce video edits for promotional materials

• Help bring awareness and support for HHP's programs

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years of video/broadcast journalism experience in a comparable position

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot inefficient, unreliable processes

• Ability to deliver on multiple deadlines and prioritize compulsively as a self-directed individual, comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

• Mastery of the video recording process

• Proficiency in digital video workstations

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot inefficient, unreliable processes
