The Contra Costa Humane Society (CCHS), a non-profit animal rescue, is looking for great volunteers to join their Cat Adoption Center at the Danville Pet Food Express, located at 609 San Ramon Valley Blvd.! Here are our current openings:
Adoption Assistance
Sundays 11-2P, Biweekly
Sundays 2-5P, Biweekly
Adoption Counseling (18+)
Thursdays 4-7P, Weekly (1 opening)
Fridays 4-7P, Weekly (1 opening)
Sundays 2-5P, Biweekly (1 opening)
Cleaning & Socialization
Wednesdays 9:30-11A, Weekly (1 opening)
For Pet Food Express volunteering, the purchase of a CCHS volunteer shirt ($15) will be needed.
As Pet Food Express in a business, you are also representing this wonderful company while you volunteer there. For this reason, we are looking for outgoing and professional people who enjoy working with both the cats and the public, regardless of the type of shift.

Please note that we are currently unable to accommodate service hours. Those under the age of 17 may volunteer as long as they have a parent/guardian with them. We are a resource for information on animal-related issues, and provide a variety of services such as cat and dog adoption referrals, and low-cost spay/neuter information and financial assistance.
