We are currently looking for an Administrative/Office Volunteer at VITAS Healthcare. Administrative volunteers can help make nursing admission and legal packets. Other projects may include mailings, maintaining patient records, filing, computer assistance and assisting with various program operations. Volunteers are needed during the business hours of Monday through Friday anytime from 8:30am to 5pm. The hours are flexible and completely up to you. This volunteer office position is estimated to be 2 to 3 hours a week. Any time you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated. Training and ongoing supervision is provided for Office Volunteers from Volunteer Manager and VITAS staff.

Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non- medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteers for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in the community.
