Kids Care Program - Arkansas Blood Institute

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Our Blood Institute

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

The Kids Care Program is designed to educate children in local schools about the importance of blood donation to their community. Typically, the presentations are held in conjunction with a blood drive at the student's school. The program involves providing 10 to 20 minute presentations to each grade level throughout the school day. In addition, educators can also request a Kids Care Program Representative to provide individual presentations that include activities with the students and follow-up lesson supplements for the teachers. The Kids Care Program Representatives will also provide motivation for the students to recruit their adult friends and family to donate blood at their school blood drive.

The ideal Kids Care Representative will be outgoing and friendly and have an ability to relate with elementary aged students, school faculty and staff. The program would be a wonderful opportuity for a retired teacher or students studying education, business or marketing to gain some valuable professional experience.

All training and resources will be provided by ABI!
