To be the donor-to-patient lifeline, providing our communities and medical partners security by meeting transfusion and health care needs. Arkansas Blood Institute’s Volunteer Services Department is dedicated to enhancing ABI’s commitment to the communities we serve by finding people who share our compassion for life. The ultimate goal of Volunteer Services is to cultivate the relationships that will provide volunteer support for the life saving work of Arkansas Blood Institute. Why do volunteers contribute their time to ABI? To help save lives To give back to the community To be an important part of a team For personal growth For education and philanthropy We have volunteer opportunities in a wide range of locations due to our mobile units drawing blood in the Fort Smith sourrounding areas as well as the Hot Springd sourrounding areas. We also have volunteer opportunities in both centers in Fort Smith and Hot Springs, AR.

I feel that if love volunteering with you and I like there will be know problem getting some of my friends to come and work with me side by side. But by me being a people person I know I will love working with you, I just love working with the elderly and the kids.
