Our parking lot is being improved. We are resurfacing it, painting different parking lines and it's going to have one entrance and one exit. We need someone who likes to tell people where to go!! If you have an outgoing personality and would like to wear a neon colored vest, you are the volunteer for us. This opportunity is on Fridays from 11 am to 2 pm. Fridays are Bonus Friday and we offer produce and baked good to anyone who comes to CES, so it's a busy day. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call Melanie at 612-870-1125 x128

Description
Community Emergency Service is a multi-service non-profit organization that runs a number of food based assistance programs for Minneapolis residents. Our main programs include: Food Shelf, Meals on Wheels, Home Delivery, Bonus Friday Distribution, and East African Food Distribution.
CES is located within one of the most diverse, densely populated neighborhoods in Minneapolis; over 20,000 people live within its boundaries. 46% of families living in the Phillips neighborhood are below the federal poverty level.
At CES, we strive to serve all our neighbors in need without distinction or test. We invite support from volunteers and donors and are open to collaboration with other agencies, regardless of religious affiliation.
