If you love people and like to chat, we have an opening in our event department to reach out to members and guests and let them know about upcoming events and register their attendance.
- Use a prepared call list to call Chamber members for monthly events and register their attendance.
- Call guests and prospective members and let them know about upcoming events and register their attendance.
- Take payments over the phone.
- Use email and fax to send information upon request.
- Assist with answering phones
- Assist with adminstative work to prepare for monthly breakfast and mixers.
- Administrative tasks would be around marketing and outreach and at times include tabling at events and social media/content work.

The Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce is the premier business organization in the San Fernando Valley promoting economic vitality and community growth.
Description
Nearly 400 Valley-area businesses and organizations support The Chamber. Our range of members includes sole practitioners to small-and medium-sized businesses to large corporations. The Chamber:
- Manages a multitude of member services and programs for nearly 400 member businesses and organizations, representing nearly 19,000 employees.
- Actively engages in important regional policy issues each year.
- Is driven by a range of 15 to 18-member board of directors and supported by a committee structure that includes over a dozen committees made up of more than 150 volunteer leaders.
- Is affiliated with diverse nonprofit organizations that support The Chamber’s mission and regional economic development goals.
- Is at the center of important decision-making activities with regional organizations, elected officials and city, county, state, and federal agencies.
