This opportunity is for a volunteer Admin Assistant. This will involve helping with client intake. The following are some of the main duties of the position.

  • Help with answering the phones and door
  • greeting clients
  • Light filing
  • Scheduling clients for skills training at NSEC
  • data entry of clients names in a spread sheet

The person should be comfortable working in an inner city setting. Customer service skills are necessary to greet and interact with people on a professional level. The Assistant should be comfortable working with little supervision.

The Near Southside Employment is a 501(c)3 nonprofit employment and training agency tha provides the following services at no cost to job seekers 16 and older:
