You don't need to pick up a hammer to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity: Volunteer at the Restore!

With the help of local donations made by generous people - including businesses, home stagers, contractors and homeowners - we are able to support Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco's mission through resale retail. Proceeds of every sale go towards building and maintaining affordable homes and revitalizing neighborhoods in our community. Thanks to our committed volunteers, the San Carlos ReStore is able to provide affordable home improvement items and furniture to local families, while also diverting thousands of tons of usable materials from local landfills each year. Here are the ReStore volunteer positions we need most:

Receiving Volunteers: Greet and interact with donors in our receiving area and accept donations. Load and unload large/heavy items from a truck and move them to/from the sales floor. Clean and sort incoming donations and keep the receiving area safe and tidy.
Customer Experience: Volunteers who love home improvement, interior design, do-it-yourself projects or just want to learn, wanted! Create attractive and compelling displays and interact with customers.
