Countless studies show the positive effects that pets have on humans. Whether for social interaction, reduced agitation, memories, physical touch, or so on; all interactions are meaningful and beneficial to the resident. Needless to say, Oaknoll loves friendly, pet visitors! However, please be mindful that you are entering their home and to always be courteous and respectful.
While therapy dogs are preferred, it's not required. If you have a well mannered pet that would be gentle with the elderly, I'd love to hear from you!
