Join CASA for a day of stewardship and giving back on the Aspen Trail. We will be doing trail repair, restoration, and some erosion control. We won't be lifting many heavy rocks. DETAILS
When: June 3, 2017
Time: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Where: Marshall Gulch parking area (Parking is limited - so please consider carpooling, and be prepared to walk a few minutes)
WHAT TO BRING:
- Gloves (CASA will have some available if you do not)
- Safety glasses or sunglasses
- Hard hat or climbing helmet
- Boots or closed toed shoes (no sandals please)
- Long pants
- Sun protection
- Lunch (CASA will provide snacks)
- 4 liters of water (minimum)

DOGS
For safety, dogs are not permitted on the project site.
WHY
Accessing many climbing areas including the Aspen Trail Boulders, Delta Dome, and The Steep, the Aspen Trail is part of 21 miles of Forest Service systems trails that CASA has committed to stewarding through an Arizona Recreational Trails Program grant. Let's keep making a HUGE impact!

What We Do
CASA is a home for climbers. It’s a place where you can learn new skills and have fun being a steward of the areas we use. Our work is the foundation for our advocacy for climbers, and it empowers us to address access issues when they arise.
Structure
CASA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization modeled after the Access Fund. Members support our projects and events through participation and financial contributions.
Projects
Our goal is to provide you with resources, opportunities, and education so you can work on what’s important to you. We’re currently planning:
- Adopt a Crag events
- Regular Mt. Lemmon highway cleanup
- Graffiti abatement/removal for Windy Point
- Fixed hardware replacement team
- Education opportunities for climbers at all stages
- Partnerships with local land managers, user groups, and other organizations through collaborative relationships
