Goodwin House Palliative Care and Hospice is seeking volunteers to join their expanding program serving Northern Virginia residents in their homes. As a volunteer, you will offer the comfort and companionship of a friendly visit with a hospice patient. You may also provide respite by sitting with a patient while their family members and care providers leave the house, or assist with running errands. Must be able to visit a hospice patient in his/her own home at least once a week. Orientation and ongoing training will be provided, including COVID precautions. Please join our hospice team for this rewarding work!

Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) affiliated with the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. As a CCRC, we provide a continuum of housing, services and health care (independent, assisted living, and nursing care) for about 500 seniors.
