If you love cooking and helping kids learn about healthy food then join Kidzu as a volunteer for our Kids in the Kitchen summer camp! You will help kids understand the importance of fresh and healthy food while they learn about different ingredients and how to put them together to make delicious, fresh and healthy recipes.
Kidzu has an ongoing year-round cooking program for kids. The Kids in the Kitchen program is held during the fall and winter months. During the spring and summer To Market to Market is held in conjunction with the Chapel Hill Farmer's Market every Tuesday afternoon to allow the kids to go to the market and pick out fresh ingredients from the farmer's themselves and talk to them about the food and how it's produced, while also working on their financial literacy skills.

The camp runs daily from June 5th to June 9th from 9-1. We ask that volunteers come about 15 minutes early to help set up.
