Translators are responsible for facilitating effective communication between Pass With Flying Colors staff and parents of our scholars. Translators ensure that our diverse community of parents have the information they need about the college process and their child's college readiness. Translators may lead parent meetings, translate meetings or calls between parents and PWFC staff, or translate written materials provided to families. We are seeking indiviudals who are fluent in Spanish and other languages to provide accurate oral and written translation.
TIME COMMITMENT
The time commitment varies depending on the needs of our parent community. Parent meetings and conferences are scheduled in advance, but written translation or last minute needs may arise.
OTHER EXPECTATIONS
All volunteers are expected to complete a background check before working with students and parents. Translators are expected to provide a resume and other information documenting their language proficiency.
