Hospice volunteering brings many opportunities for personal growth and learning while providing support to patients and families. Assignments include patient and caregiver companionship, respite care, errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, reading, music, and massage therapy. Volunteers may also help by recording life stories.. We encourage volunteers to use their individual skills and talents to bring comfort to patients and families.
