Pet Therapy support dogs and their owners are specially trained and certified, and foster the special connection between dogs and humans. Pet Therapy teams visit assigned patients and play a vital role in their care and well-being. Certification through a program like Support Dogs, Inc., or Love on a Leash is required.
Our compassionate and well-trained volunteers work alongside our professional staff and are a vital part of the care and comfort we provide. Volunteering is also a rewarding way to "give back" and a great way to connect with members of your community.
Training is provided.
