A FAMILY FOR EVERY CHILD NEEDS YOU TO VOLUNTEER WITH EUGENE MARATHON THIS YEAR!
A Family For Every Child is taking it to the 5k race, the half marathon, and the full marathon to bring awareness to our programs!
The weekend of May 5-7th we have various team members racing in the different races and we couldn't do it without you.
We are looking for at least 10 volunteers to sign up to volunteer at Eugene Marathon. These shifts are short, fun, and you have the opportunity to choose what task you do.

Step 1: Sign Up!
We need you to sign up and help AFFEC at Eugene Marathon. If you're looking for a fun and energetic volunteer opportunity then this is for you. By signing up today you get to select which volunteer task you'd like to do. Write "A Family For Every Child" in the comments section so they know what team you're volunteering with.
Step 2: Let us know you're volunteering!
Contact Ayasha Benninghoven by email at ayasha@afamilyforeverychild.org or call 541-343-2856 to let her know that you're signed up as an AFFEC volunteer so we can personally thank you! You are such an important role in the Eugene Marathon.
Step 3: We'll see you there!
A lot of our staff is signed up to run in a race and we can't wait to see your smiling faces as we go throughout the day. We couldn't do this without you. We'll see you there!
When you volunteer in the Eugene Marathon this year you directly impact the programs to help foster youth in your community.

Mission Statement
A Family for Every Child is dedicated to finding loving, permanent families for every waiting foster child." Our intention is to develop programs that assist special-needs/challenging-to-place foster children in finding their own Forever Families.
Description
A Family For Every Child, a nonprofit organization, was started by Christy Obie-Barrett and dozens of dedicated and passionate volunteers. In 2006, AFFEC was formed and developed into an organization focused on finding permanent and loving adoptive homes for Oregon's waiting children. We started with our first project called The Heart Gallery in November, 2006, and now we have blossomed into ten incredibly successful programs. None of this could have occurred without the wonderful support from thousands of volunteers, sponsors, in-kind donors, photographers, and many more!
