Everyone is Welcome at Queens Library! On April 26th, the Jackson Heights Library is coming out to say hello to the neighborhood.

We will in the community from 10:00am - 12:00pm speaking with local residents about the programs and services offered for children and adults at Queens LIbrary

Fun and outgoing volunteers are needed to help engage local residents, parents, and children; and share what's happening at Queens Library.

Tasks may include (but not limited to):

  • Distribute flyers, brochures, and pamphlets
  • Provide free giveaways to the public
  • Help sign-up new library card holders

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 16 years old and up
  • Outgoing personality
  • Comfortable with talking to others

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Working papers are not required for this project
  • Minors must still obtain parental/guardian consent to volunteer
