Headwaters Outfitters is celebrating 25 years as a family owned business. Saturday May 20 we are hosting our annual Headwaters Outfitters River Clean Up Day, which typically brings in 75-100 volunteers. We provide all volunteers with a canoe, paddle, PFD, and trash bags; also all volunteers receive a complimentary breakfast AND lunch and a free t-shirt with all sponsors logo on the back, on our website, and in our local newspaper. Volunteers just need to have proper protective footwear, gloves, grabbing tools (old BBQ tongs, trash pickers), and a desire to make our rivers more clean and beautiful than before.
We meet at Headwaters Outfitters at 9 am for free breakfast and then shuttle all volunteers to the rivers put in nearby, paddling until lunch time, then shuttle back to the shop for a free lunch to follow.
