I am a Junior in high school and I would like to get service hours to get into National Honor Society. This would be a great opportunity for my friends as well.

This was a very calm, very easy volunteer opportunity to complete. The head organizers were very friendly and immediately got us integrated to begin working. They supplied bags, gloves, long reach picker-uppers, and even sifters. The work was relaxing actually. You walk along the beach and pick up any trash/recyclable you encounter. It was only an hour long. At the end, when you return the bags of trash, they weigh them and somewhat make it into a friendly competition. They announce who got the highest. I thought that was a great touch. Overall, great experience. I will return.

It was easy to communicate with the organization and they answered all of my questions about volunteering.
