Opportunities include:

  • Companionship, board games, reading
  • Respite/Caregiver relief
  • Errands/Shopping
  • Light housekeeping
  • Light meal prep
  • Administrative tasks- assembling packets, stuffing envelopes, mailings, filing, data entry
  • Bereavement - make phone calls, mailings, newsletters, assist with grief support groups
  • Crocheting/ knitting small patient blankets
  • Music and pet therapy

Description

At Wings of Hope Hospice we are honored to provide those in our community with a life-limiting illness compassionate care.
Hospice is a fully covered Medicare benefit that is also covered by most private insurance plans. There is no out-of-pocket cost to our patients.
Wings of Hope Hospice offers a full range of services including nurses visits, home health aides, social services, spiritual counseling, and volunteers. All staff and volunteers must go through a background screening process.
