VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Join the 2020 Wine Tasting Crew!!
April 24th, 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is currently seeking volunteers for our annual "vintage" Wine Tasting event.
Volunteers for this event must be at least 21 years old.
What does the Wine Tasting Crew Do??
Volunteers will be responsible for pouring samples, checking ID’s and distributing glasses.
We need approximately 100 volunteers on the night of the event, so we can easily accommodate large groups or individuals that want to join in on the fun! Volunteers who work the event will receive 2 complementary tickets to Riverbanks Zoo and Garden.
What’s Required?
All Wine Tasting Crew members must be able to volunteer from 5:30pm until approximately 10:00pm. Sign-in starts at 5:00pm. All volunteers must wear black pants or shorts (no jeans please) and a plain black shirt or your Special Event Volunteer shirt. Volunteers must be reliable, cheerful, service-oriented, and able to follow directions.
How do we get registered?
Contact Haley Albright at halbright@riverbanks.org . Please let me know how many people will be participating. Once I confirm your spot(s) I will respond back with the 2020 Wine Tasting application and Instruction sheet. Space is limited and this event fills up fast! Description
Riverbanks Zoological Park & Botanical Garden offers an entertaining and unique educational experience for the entire family. More than 2,000 animals are housed in natural habitat exhibits that use psychological barriers such as moats, water and light to create an environment free of bars and cages for animals. Opened in June 1995, Riverbanks' 70-acre Botanical Garden features scenic views of the Saluda River, wooded trails, historic ruins, the Saluda Factory Interpretive Center and a spectacular walled garden and visitors center.
