Pick Fruit to Reduce Hunger & Waste in San Diego!

Want a fun, outdoor giving experience that will result in delicious, healthy food for San Diego county children, families, veterans, seniors and homeless who do not know where their next meal is coming from? Come spend your Saturday morning picking fragrant fruit at a local orchard with us.

Not only will you be part of a group of volunteers that picks fresh, healthy fruit for those who need it most, but you will also be assuring that the fruit does not go to waste. A win/win. Hunger and CO2 reduced in one sweet step!

All ages and abilities welcome. Pick as much or as little as you are capable. All supplies provided.

We schedule our picks as local growers let us know their crops are ripe so we never have more than a few on our calendar at a time. Picks typically are scheduled for Saturday mornings from 9am - 12pm.
