Carver Scott Humane Society connects animals in need with people who care. Do you have a passion for bettering the lives of animals but cannot be on-site during regular business hours? Would you like to provide a clean environment at our Cat Adoption Center in Chaska by volunteering in the evenings or early mornings? We have several volunteer opportunities to provide janitorial service in 2 hour shifts, any time between 10 pm and 6:30 am. This volunteer position would involve sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying garbage and cleaning sinks/bathroom/counters.

The Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue incorporated in March of 1989. Our mission is to connect animals in need with people who care. In addition to our foster homes, we have a Cat Adoption Center in our offices in downtown Chaska, MN.

Description

Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based animal rescue that places over 500 animals a year in the homes of loving adopters. With 4 full time staff and 1 part time staff, our team of nearly 100 volunteers are critical to our success.

CSHS has developed a cutting-edge, holistic approach to rescue that involves four pillars:
