About Us
Do you know what harmful contaminants are in your water? How it gets there? What effect it has on your families and environment? Save the Water(tm) (STW(tm)) is the one looking for answers.
STW(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water; and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.
Our volunteers are diverse professionals from all over the world bringing their knowledge and experience to STW because we care deeply about our communities and water resources. We learn and collaborate in an open and empowering work environment to find long term solutions to water contamination problem. Our vision is "Contamination free, healthy water for all".

Save the Water(tm) is growing-and fast! We need efficient Human resource intern to help handle this growth.
STW has an immediate need for a energetic and interested candidate to join our team as HR Intern. In this role you will be supporting the Human Resources Group in the area of volunteer recruitment, on-boarding and engagement.
By volunteering at STW not only will your volunteering effort contribute to the important water research, but you will also be able to advance your professional skills in the field of HR.
HR Interns are expected to make a minimum 3 month commitment and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
Learn the steps and process in the recruitment of volunteers which includes helping in conducting interviews, posting job ads in various volunteer sites, sending rejection mails to volunteer applicants
Managing volunteer files on Google Drive
Prepare and send out internal communication mails like birthday emails, newsletters, HR flyers
Assist in the research & documentation of various HR projects
Attend bi-weekly human resources meeting and monthly talent management team meeting
Experience/Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Attention to detail
Self-disciplined, completing assigned tasks on deadlines
Google Documents Savvy
Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
