Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut has developed a new program utilizing a large vegetable garden at the Indian Rock Nature Preserve that will have a direct, positive impact on the residents of Bristol that need it most. We are looking for a group of dedicated volunteers to assist in the care and maintenance of a vegetable garden full of pesticide-free, sustainably grown vegetables that will be donated throughout the growing season to the food pantries and soup kitchens in Bristol.

NO experience is necessary! Just a willingness to donate your time for a worthy cause.

Our Sustainable Garden Intern will lead and work with Garden for Good Volunteers. Garden Schedule is: Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am - 2pm and Fridays and Sundays from 3pm - 7pm. Let us know what works for you! You can stay for an hour or two or the entire shift.

Great as a parent/child activity, for retirees, school and community service requirements!
