NYC: Product Photographer For Local Small Businesses

Start Small Think Big is seeking enthusiastic and reliable photographers who are interested in volunteering their skills to help under-resourced small business entrepreneurs build and sustain their thriving businesses. You must have a passion for all aspects of photography, but an individual with a specific interest in food and product photography would be ideal. We are currently seeking photographers who have experience or are comfortable VIRTUALLY directing entrepreneurs in taking quality headshots or product shots as we've put all in-person projects on-hold due to COVID19.

There are two ways to volunteer within Start Small Think Big:

1. One Day Engagement (known as Clinics): Coordinate a "Volunteer Day" where we book a group of clients according to a schedule that you select in advance for one-hour product photos or 30-minute headshots.
2. Project-based Engagement: Connect one-on-one with an entrepreneur to capture high-resolution photographs for their business. Our one-on-one engagements are project-based and limited in scope (meaning that after the project is completed, volunteers can choose another client or project to work on), though some volunteers develop an ongoing relationship with the client.

Please only apply if you have at least 3 years of professional experience.
