We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to plan and implement new sustainability-themed events for our senior residents. Major projects will include Earth Day and Green Apple Day.

As a community organizer, you will be instrumental in sharing your knowledge about environmentally sustainable behaviors at home, and how these can decrease expenses and increase the overall wellbeing of our low-income communities!

Major responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with community members and property management
• Planning workshops, presentations, or green activities for seniors
• Facilitating these community outreach events every 3 months
• Creating and distributing flyers
• Assisting Resident Services Coordinator with budgeting and purchasing supplies

Learn new skills and have fun, all while sharing your talents to build a stronger and healthier community!

How to Enroll:

To qualify as a Health & Wellbeing Volunteer, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and submit to a background verification. Getting involved is as easy as taking 4 simple steps:

1. Visit our website at: http://www.linchousing.org/linccares/vol_form.html and complete the online application.
2. You will be contacted within days to schedule an orientation appointment.
3. Attend an orientation where you will meet onsite staff, receive a tour of the facility, and be given an introduction to LINC and the responsibilities of its volunteers.
4. You will be contacted after orientation for placement in the activity of your choice.
