Special Olympics Florida provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for children and adults with intellecutal disabilities who wish to participate. Each year more than 27,000 volunteers in Florida assist as coaches, in competitions and as managment team volunteers.
Special Olympics Florida - Alachua County is seeking volunteers to join its management team.
Volunteers are needed to serve on the Fundraising committee. The Fundraising Management team will work with County Director to execute established events and integrate Special Olympics Florida as beneficiary in existing Community events.
Help plan events, connect to local organizations and build Special Olympics Florida in Alachua County!

Description
Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
